Restoran River Bay

Reached the shop around 8pm on a Sunday night. Plenty of tables available. We seated near the river and was welcomed with cool breeze. Ordered the chef recommended claypot talapia, pork tail stewed with peanuts and vege. Talapia was ok, prefer to have more gravy. Pork tail very tasty. Price is very reasonable. Definitely will return for more food.

Service normal lah. Seat near river kind of special lor, not sure how it will be during rain Food wor, photos shows all liow. Tasty & not salty, not very Atas kind but good enough to make me thinks of next trip. After makan don't feel dry throat. Price reasonable lah, seafood atas bukit wor.

Dining area by the river side. The soothing sound of river flowing makes the atmosphere feel relaxed. Claypot kangkung- 8/10 ; crunchy and cooked with pork lard. Lala pepper soup - 7/10 ; good amount of pepper Crispy pork - 9/10 ; one of the better ones in the area. Crispy , could b better if more sauce Overall, nice place for dining Accepts credit card for payment.

Beautiful restaurant by the river. Food come out quick and tasty. Only downside the lala have so many empty shells. More then the one with clam in it. But it's fresh and savory. Lots of parking space

Pet friendly restaurant. It was heavy rain when we reached, staff came out to give us an umbrella. They allowed for dog and overall nice yet clean environment. Foods were meet up to expectations, we will return.

Spacious, food tastes ok & service is good although don’t have any local around to manage the workers. A minor point is the toilet looks like office furnishing & the deodorant balls are placing too much, so it a funny view when entering the toilet.

River Bay Restaurant: A Surprisingly Great Seafood & Chicken Oasis! My recent lunch at River Bay Restaurant was a surprisingly great experience that I highly recommend for fresh seafood and, especially, their exceptional live chicken. First off, the convenience is unbeatable with a huge free parking space right at the restaurant. Now, you might catch a faint, rustic scent from a nearby lamb farm as you approach, but trust me, once you step inside and head towards the far end tables, that subtle aroma completely dissipates. The restaurant itself is impressively huge and spacious, and amazingly clean – even the washrooms are meticulously well-maintained and spotless, which is always a good sign! Their menu offers a great variety of dishes, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive. We started with their signature steamed chicken, priced at RM45 for a half chicken. This chicken is truly something special. You can tell it's believed to be freshly slaughtered in the morning because the meat is incredibly tender, and the bones have that distinct yellowish, transparent look – a sure sign of a healthy, live chicken. The accompanying special homemade ginger oil was incredibly fresh; you could taste the vibrancy of the ginger, a far cry from those overly oily or dry versions. We also enjoyed the ginger steamed frog and a comforting claypot kangkung vegetable. A unique find was the local-grown Tian Qi vegetable, which is apparently only available here. With its delicious food, commitment to freshness, and the lovely river lake view, River Bay Restaurant is a fantastic spot for a relaxing lunch or dinner with friends and family.

This is my third time here. One of the best Chinese restaurants around this area. What is great? 1) awesome environment. The restaurant is located by the river and you can bask in the sound of nature, river flowing, while enjoying foods. The air here is fresh too. It is kinda chilling when you come at night 2) the foods are generous in portion. We ordered simple dishes suitable for kids. We specially love the claypot tou fu, the steamed lala is very appetising, it's sweet and sour. Since they use kampung chicken, the herbal chicken is a little chewy and hard, not everyone likes it, however the broth is perfect. 3) the restaurant is spacious with good ventilation. The toilets are clean too. 4) last but not least, very reasonable prices. 5) ample of parking spaces Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you are only interested in some more economical fish (e.g. tilapia), this restaurant has it. Reason for mentioning this is because not all the restaurants at this area have tilapia first.
